TheraVac is one of eight innovators awarded funding in the latest cohort of CABHI Fuel.
Nov. 28, 2025, ALBUQUERQUE, NM & MISSISSAUGA, ON — TheraVac Biologics (TheraVac), a preclinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation immunotherapies targeting neurodegenerative and inflammatory diseases, today announced it has been selected as a funding recipient through the Fuel program from the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI), powered by Baycrest. The CABHI Fuel program funding will support key research and development and manufacturing milestones, including bioprocess development for TheraVac’s lead active immunotherapy, to help accelerate the company’s path toward clinical translation.
TheraVac is one of eight innovators selected for the latest cohort of CABHI Fuel awardees, each working to advance breakthrough technologies through defined research, development, and validation milestones. The program has allocated a total of $2.8 million CAD to eight early- to mid-stage researchers and companies advancing transformative solutions in aging and brain health. Beyond financial support, TheraVac will gain access to CABHI’s suite of Acceleration Services, which are designed to streamline development, de-risk innovation, and facilitate a more efficient pathway to market. “We thank CABHI for its confidence in our science and team.
